The Law Office of Jeremy Gordon believes in the rehabilitative power of education. In fact, we believe in it so much that we created the “Commitment to Change College Scholarship” in order to encourage prisoners to participate in higher education programs while incarcerated. Grants for felons are difficult to come by, so this program is unique.
The scholarship covers the cost of tuition and books for one college course from Adams State University, an accredited U.S. university that has Associate’s, Bachelor’s and Master’s programs specially designed for the incarcerated.
To be eligible for a scholarship, applicants must be incarcerated in federal prison, and not already hold a Bachelor’s degree. Additional eligibility requirements are published with the announcement of each scholarship contest. Jeremy Gordon, PLLC reserves the right to alter or discontinue the scholarship as it deems fit.
